First one is, although you will be working for yourself and you have all the time in the world, no boss or whatsoever, you need to need a feel for a professional attitude with regards to whatever you’re doing right now. The point is, don’t be like those other people who will only write ‘when they can and/or if they are only ‘in the mood for writing’. You need to make some attitude-change today. Set a regular time to work. If you say 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, then, go for it and don’t ever destroy it.

The second tip is you should tag your target market, determine who will you write a novel for? Don’t be a prey for the trick of writing something because it is sellable very well today. If you want to learn how to write a romance novel even if science fiction are current best-sellers, go ahead and learn how to write a romantic novel and start writing stories of the heart.

The next is, you should put trust in yourself that you can overcome the odds and become successful in the end.

Four is, you need to have full support from your family. But if you get some discouragements from them, don’t be frustrated. Just go on with your work and there is no one there to give a first moral support to you other than yourself. And five, preparepare youself to receive and accept rejection. Don’t expect too much but just prepare for anything especially when you write a romance novel.
